Finished the trip to Miami with some great food and conversation with an old friend. It feels great to catch up and talk effortlessly. This was the view from my window on the flight from Orlando to Albany.
Today I visited the Holocaust Memorial in Miami Beach. It was easily the most moving, somber, and in a way terrifying piece or art/monument I’ve ever seen. The imagery, sculpture, and even the layout made me feel incredibly sad, trapped, and shook me to the bone. Couldn’t bring myself to take a photograph. Contrast that…
