My dad has been building some pretty amazing things over the years, including several featherweight canoes. It’s something I’ve always wanted to try but have never been good working with my hands. However, on January 1st, 2010 I began work on my own featherweight, under his instruction.
Two years, four months and 22 days later, I finished the project. It was an amazing experience to create something that I’m really proud of and even better that I got to built it with my dad. I tried to document each step of the process and have posted below a (very) small sampling of the build.
