Today I’m continuing my chat with Erika Napoletano of Redhead Writing. Now we’re really talking business… Part III covers owning your brand as well as the agency / client relationship. She has some great advice for how to work with agencies and how build a great long-term relationship with clients.
If you missed Parts I and II – no biggie, just click to get brought up to speed on Erika’s background, how she built her audience, and the dos / don’ts of guest posting.
Many thanks to the head Redhead for taking the time to speak with me. Get some context and show some love by checking out Erika’s blog, follower her on Twitter, or connect via Facebook.
I like her attitude about getting and retaining clients, very bold. She has certainly found her niche, and it’s working for her.
What i think is strange, is that this attitude doesn’t seem to work as well with male bloggers. hummm!
Thanks for the comment Kevin. Interesting point about the gender thing… I think though at the end of the day, especially when it comes to the client relationship, what clients really care about are results. Whether that comes from a loud mouthed 6ft tall guy, a reserved person, or someone like Erika – it’s the deliverables.
But, like she said – it’s about finding a match. I’m sure Erika’s style isn’t for everyone but its a big marketplace out there.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.
I know this is over a year old, but Im happy I found this post.
I have always felt the same way about finding the right clients – but what do you do when you simply need the money? lol
Good interview!
Thanks so much, Nicole! Glad you found the interview helpful. Great question about the money – it’s all about balance, right?
My dream destination is of csruoe the US because there are many tourist spots there. There is the Disneyland and Disney World, Hollywood, The Grand Canyons, Niagara Falls, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Florida, etc. But before I go out of the country, I would love first to visit all the beautiful tourist spots in the Philippines. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
