Today I visited the Holocaust Memorial in Miami Beach. It was easily the most moving, somber, and in a way terrifying piece or art/monument I’ve ever seen. The imagery, sculpture, and even the layout made me feel incredibly sad, trapped, and shook me to the bone. Couldn’t bring myself to take a photograph.
Contrast that with capping the evening off by siting on the lawn outside a performing arts center watching a WallCast of the New World Symphony with friends, a glass of red, and some chocolate covered ginger. A great way to end the evening as I get ready to depart Miami for home.
